Yesterday after the trip to the doctor…mom and I headed to Target. I got new jeans. They are cute “under the belly” maternity jeans. Mom bought them. Thanks mom!

tax break

fantastic.

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - Dutch tax authorities have allowed a woman to deduct the 2,210 euros it cost her to take a one-year course in witchcraft, an inland revenue official said Wednesday.

The 39-year actress and artist learned how to use crystal balls and prepare herbs, and also spells and other witchcraft skills at the course held in the country’s northwest.

“The woman used the training in order to start … giving workshops, so she used it to extend her professional knowledge,” the tax official told Reuters.

Margarita Roland, who gave the course and whose Web site (http://www.heksehoeve.nl/) shows her with a broomstick and pointed hat, said she teaches apprentices all they need to know to become a witch, using magic as a force for good.

“A witch is a wise woman or man who knows about the magic of life in general and the magic of the earth in particular,” said Roland, known as the “witch of Appelscha” after her home town.

Celebration the Fourth

On Tuesday I was provided a special lunch at school.
Teddie made her famous corn dip and Faye brought the Fritos! We ate and laughed and then there were mini-cakes!!!!!! I was indulged with a red velvet cake complete with candle and flame!
Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better…the presents came out!
Teddie bought me a BEAUTIFUL shirt. Faye made my day with a big bag of candy and fantastic Halloween candles!
It was a great treat and such a nice break from the typical school lunch.
Thanks!

Thanks Mom!

Celebration the Third

Tonight Lauren and Roberta treated me to the pleasure of their company and dinner at Surin! It was great to see them…I don’t see them enough! Lauren brought the baby the cutest, sweetest, softest stuffed puppy ever. Lucky for me I have a few months to play with before the baby gets here.
Dinner with Lauren and Roberta is never “normal” … (nothing involving Roberta ever is). We always end up discussing the most bizarre topics.

Some of the things discussed tonight were:

Socratic Questioning - for example - Do we (society) need poverty to appreciate what we have?
The Theories of Evolution, Creationism, Relativity etc…
The consistency of baby poo based on diet.
Mullets
The fact that I would sooo do Scarlett Johansson (among others)
The Judge Roberts nomination
Quantum Physics
What pregnant can and cannot eat
Listeria

And that was only the beginning!
Thanks for a great night!

Today the WildeChicks showed up at Jungle Book rehearsal with a cake and song! It was a huge white cake with choc. mousse filling and choc. icing. It was decorated with a spider…very scary! If that wasn’t enough…I was then taken to lunch at The Botanical Gradens where I was able to satisfy my Clementines Chicken Salad craving. I was showered with love, laughter and even gifts. It was fantastic. Thanks ladies for a great surprise! You are the best!

And my birthday isn’t even until Tuesday!
