To put your mind at ease…

Some of you may remember my post about Heather Locklear and her haircolor.
You will be happy to know that my mom read that post and emailed the fine folks at L’Oreal. She inquired about Heather’s hair and her “box” of haircolor. Well believe it or not they emailed her back. Apparently Heather’s hair is colored by a L’Oreal colorist / stylist using L’Oreal products. Sadly she doesn’t go by Target and grab a box of color on the way to get a shampoo, cut and style. Now we know.

I know I have been away for awhile…but I am back!
Just to fill you in…
Steve and I moved. We are now in a 4 bedroom, 2 bath house near Mt. Gap. It has been a crazy couple of weeks trying to get ready to move and then actually moving. There is still a lot to do and I appreciate all of the volunteers who have come to my assistance! I promise to be a better blogger now that things are coming together!

Yummmm!

weekend recap

Friday
I picked Steve up from work and we headed to Outback for dinner! We got there right before everyone else. We had great food and great service. The best part was us. We were both happy to be there together. After we finished dinner we headed over to the new house (more in a seperate post) to double check some stuff. Neither of us could remember if the garage doors had automatic openers or which rooms were already cable ready etc… After poking around over there we went by Coldstone to get Scout some ice cream. She is so spoiled. After our sugar high set in we headed out to look at appliances. (I think one of the biggest clues that you are a grown up is being excited about appliance shopping on a Friday night.) Then it was home to some quality couch time before bed.

Saturday
Steve was in charge of breakfast. Nice. Shopping with Steph is never dull… I won’t go into here. I did that here. When I finally arrived back home… Steve was in the throws of a “Rachel Ray” moment. He was chopping and dicing. Dinner was well on its way to the table! We ate dinner and decided we would go to a movie. We saw “Fun With Dick and Jane.” It was good. Funny and not long make me happy. We got home in time to watch some SNL in bed before falling asleep.

Sunday
I woke up to Steve bringing home KrispyKreme. YUM! After breakfast Steve got prepared to go hiking. I found a Miami Ink marathon on TLC. Steve headed out for his “refreshing” 3 hour hike and I watched Miami Ink and did some packing and purging (clothes, old panties, mismatched socks… not donuts). I was bathing when Steve showed back up. After that we enjoyed some lazy time on the couch with each other. It was nice. I finally got up off the couch and ran to the store to get a few things. I returned to fix dinner (taco salads). Then I cleaned up the kitchen and sat down at the computer to check out the rest of the world and to fill you in. Soon it will be time for Desperate Housewives and (my new favorite) Grey’s Anatomy. Sleep well…tomorrow is Monday.

A New Year

Posted on January 2nd, 2006 in My Peeps, That makes me happy, Whatever by Aardvark

I have no resolutions. When you are pregnant it is ridiculous to make resolutions. All reason and sanity fly out the window most days … so why bother. I have never been big on resolutions. I figure if I don’t make them… I can’t break them. It works for me.

Saturday night was lots of fun! The coven gathered with our men to cook raw meat in pits of oil. There was also cheese. After dinner we set things on fire and put them on others “thingies.” When we were finished with the pyrotechnics we moved to the living room. This is where the battle began. The women dominated. Bryan was bitter.

At midnight there was champagne, toasting, laughing, and kissing.
Happy New Year!
I hope this year is amazing for you and yours!
