This is a test
I just downloaded the Wordpress app for my iPhone so … This is a test. I am blogging from my phone. I wouldn’t want to do it for every entry but it isn’t to shabby!

Penelope is 3 months old. Steve finally uploaded the video of her birth. You can check it out on his site …and if you make it to the end you can see how BLUE she was when they decided to take her to the NICU. Steve says she was much bluer by the time they got to the NICU. Freaky.
Steve made a little video tonight. Check it out.
Being an adult is weird. I am truly more excited about our new mattress than I would be about just about anything else right now! In fact if I had to choose between a new pair of shoes or the mattress…the mattress would win hands down. I slept sooooo much better last night than I have in YEARS!
Hopefully I won’t start using people’s surgical procedures as a calendar anytime soon…
“That was the year Ethel had her gall bladder removed.”
I have two freaking kids now….that is where!
Things you have missed:
1. We had two very very large pine trees cut down last week. One was close to the house. It was scary to watch.
2. Steve bought a Waverunner.
3. Steve and Bryan tried to blow up a van.
4. Peaches may very well be related to rocks.
5. Grilled corn on the cob is the best!
6. Steve bought a Jet Ski (for me;))
7. Penelope WILL NOT take a bottle… AT ALL!
8. We are having a privacy fence built. They put in the posts today.
9. I want nachos.
The funny thing about babies is how suddenly they just have something new! About 2 weeks ago Penelope suddenly sprouted some serious eyelashes! It seemed to happen overnight… look how sweet!
Yesterday Miss P went to the podiatrist (you know…because she is 80). He x-rayed her crooked/overlapping toes and examined them extensively. He told us not to bother with taping them anymore. He said it is rarely effective at this age and ends up being frustrating for the parent because the toes are so little. After checking her out he concluded that he would see her again at 6 months old. The bones in her toes are still developing and he would like to see more development before he decides what course of action to take. Apparently baby bones are pretty bendy for a while.
Today’s appointment - 2nd appointment with the ENT about the Laryngomalacia. Thank god for good health insurance!
