A Very Happy Birthday to Me!!

Yesterday was my birthday. I got to sleep until 9:30! Those of you with small children will truly understand the beauty of that. The girls gave me a generous iTunes gift card so that I can start replacing everything I lost when my hard drive crashed. (must back up iTunes from now on) Then Steve sent me off shopping with Mom and the girls. I picked up the Sex and the City movie, a new set of sheets for the bed, a couple of new nursing bras (glamorous…I know), and lunch at Another Broken Egg! I also scored some Halloween/Harvest decorations! (FYI… Hobby Lobby already has theirs on clearance to make room for Christmas stuff.)
Upon arriving home I had only moments to wait before people starting showing up on my doorstep! I was greeted by Sarah and Bryan and the Binja! Aunt Jenni! and most of the Zoot group! Pizza was ordered and songs were sang and of course…cake was eaten! AND then PRESENTS WERE GIVEN! (I said no presents!)
Sarah and Co. gave me a GORGEOUS necklace. It is amazing and I love it! It is from an Etsy store called MoppetsClosets. I can’t begin to do it justice so click the link and check it out! I am blessed.
Jenni brought me a necklace and earring set from Anthropologie. It has a gorgeous orange butterfly on the necklace! I am so accessory challenged! I love when others provide me with guidance!
The Zoots know the way to my heart. Godiva Truffles and flowers! I have every intention of hiding the truffles and not sharing them (so don’t ask!)!
I also got other prezzies this week! Some friends of mine (Hunter, Tonya, Sonal, Laurie, Jacquelyn, Lynn, Heather, Melody and Jaime) got together and gave me Mommy Tags! (Do you see the theme that I obviously can’t accessorize myself!). They are amazing! I was so excited when I got them and the quality far exceeded my expectations! AND they are made from recycled film…so I can feel green when I wear them! They also added to my Fiestware collection by giving me a cobalt blue utensil crock!
My fantastic, beautiful, generous, loving, giving, amazing friend Sonal sent my a gift certificate to Terreme! I love her.
My sister left me with a HARDBACK copy of Twilight before she left for Cali! I can’t wait to have all of them in hardback on my shelf!
Tonight my mom is cooking a birthday dinner! The birthday season continues!
Now you may be asking yourself…”What did Aardvark get from Steve?” Well let me tell you!!!
I AM GOING ON A HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE!!!! It is something I have always wanted to do and now I get to do it! I so totally love Steve! He is the best! I will be taking lots of pictures when we go and I will report back!
So really I had an AWESOME birthday…and it just keeps getting better! Thanks for making me feel so special on my day! I love you!
