Blog it forward
I saw a fabulous idea on Elaine’s blog...and I am going to modify it a bit (since she is way more crafty than I am) and do it myself.
I will perform a random act of kindness for the first three people to comment to this. This doesn’t mean that you will be the recipient…it means you will choose the recipient. Maybe you would like me to anonymously send you grandma a new book to read or your best friend some flowers or your sister a surprise box of her favorite treats or whatever idea you have. It won’t be big (think $20). And it won’t be immediate. But it will happen in the next 365 days if you are one of the first three to comment.
The catch? You have to offer this on your blog to three commenters.
If you’ve already done this on your blog, please don’t be one of my three. If you don’t have a blog — get one — they’re free! And then you can participate! Feel free to modify the act to meet your needs…I did! It is the idea that we are after!

I love this idea!
OK, I’m thinking about blogging when I start massage therapy school. I know nothing about it, so please fill me in. How do I establish a site, does it cost anything, etc.
