Halloween 08: The year of The Butterfly and The Snail

This year for Halloween Scout wanted to be a butterfly (or a sheep?) but NOT a “scary monster.” Penelope didn’t get to choose…I felt the call of the snail for her. I couldn’t find a snail costume in her size so I enlisted my fabulous costumer, Alison, to make one. I showed her Scout’s butterfly costume and she decided to make the snail costume coordinate with the butterfly. I took the girls to have pictures made in their costumes yesterday…so they should be online by Monday. We ended up getting a cute one of Scout, a decent one of Penelope and a decent one of them together. They were not very cooperative. I have a couple of Scout that I took before she went trick or treating…but she was preoccupied. Penelope wouldn’t even cooperate for those…
So here is what we have for now. I promise to post more when we get them!

Ah… and a very cute butterfly she was! I’m glad you got some good pics. Seems cooperation is hard to come by these days.
