Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
By Aardvark | March 17, 2005
Are you wearing green? I am. Isn’t is weird how countries all over the world celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? After all it is a holiday with Christian roots that started in Ireand. It isn’t celebrated by giving or receiving gifts (which often calls non-believers to a holiday). Although I guess maybe the drinking of green beer is universal. I was reading up on the history of St. Patrick’s Day.
It is interesting how it became so widespread.
Oh…by the way. This is the first official post on “A” is for Aardvark. The previous posts were just copied from my old blog. So woo hoo! If you are reading this you are part of history! I am oh so very excited to have my own website…Thanks Steve! You are the best!
