my eyes are burning

This post will be me whining about how tired I am.
Penelope is a lovely child and I love her deeply but she is not a great sleeper. Last night she was the anti sleep. She would sleep for an hour and then wake up for 20 mins or so and then go back to sleep for another hour (except for the time she slept for 45 minutes). She did this from about 10pm to 6am. At 6 she went back down and slept until almost 8am. I did not get the benefit of that extended sleep…I had to shower and get everyone ready for the various activities of the day. Scout had to go to school, Penelope had to get a flu booster shot, Miss Mary Mac had to hit the genius bar for a new power cord, etc…
There was no nap to be had and I am considering going to bed right now. I have reached the level of tired that results in burning eyes and the inability to think in complete sentences.

Mine has emptied the contents of her tummy on me several times. I hate 5am.

Noah hasn’t been sleeping well at all this week — and I was solo-parenting. I’m exhausted and I’ve been snacking on crap food all week. I am tired and I feel gross and disgusting and lazy. I feel your sore-eyed pain!!
